Aivan mahtava majapaikka Borneon viidakossa. Majataloa suojelee viidakon kuningas Franco kissa! :)

Majoituimme majatalossa yhden yön.
Meille tarjoiltiin vierailumme aikana kaksi ruokaa ja aamupala. Kaikki ruuat olivat erittäin hyviä, ruokaa oli myös riittävästi. Kahvia,teetä ja vettä oli tarjolla koko ajan.

Tarjolla myös kasvisvaihtoehto. Muista ilmoittaa tämä kun varaat majoituksen.

Näimme meidän visiitillä aivan majatalon pihassa apinoita,orangin, sivettikissan ja liskoja. Lisäksi näimme krokotiilin ja paljon muita eläimiä kun kävimme joella ajelulla.

Meidän vierailullamme oli kaksi kahden tunnin pituista veneretkeä. Toinen saapumis päivänä ja toinen aamulla ennen pois lähtöä.

Suosittelemme vierailemaan täällä, henkilkunta on aivan mahtava. Tulemme ehdottomasti takaisin jos matkustamme uudestaan borneossa! :)

It was the greatest days in my family’s life.
Accommodation.  BJA is located in a convenient between Bilit and Sukau.  It is a quit place in the wild nature.  Thanks to this placement we saw a lot of wild animals along the river and in a hotel also. There are nice rooms in BJA with air conditioning, hot water and clean new towels and sheets. I would only put some soft sofa on the terrace where you can use WiFi.
Food deserves the separate review.  We came with 3 children I said to children prefer sandwiches, nuggets and pasta.  And all of these dishes were cooked and it was incredible delicious. Thank you Sa and Nine!
Tours. We had 4 tours and I worried about children.  It was usually boring all for them.  But! Children woke up every day at 6am and went to the “quiet hunt”.  Linda and Man have the eyes of an eagle, they see everything and everyone.
Resume. If you want to see the most wild nature, enjoy the silence of the forest, see animals in the resort, this is the place for you. If you need internet, expensive furniture, china set, pass by.

4 days 3 nights at BJA. Rooms are fair tbh, it’s the staff who make all the differences. It’s very heart warming how they serve with a full heart of passion (and not merely as a job). They deserve a fat bonus from the boss! We saw various mammals and birds along the river cruise, even the Pygmy elephants which amazed our boy tremendously. Our guide- Linda is truly service oriented and takes good care of our boy, making sure he does not slip when standing in the boat or when it rains. Truly very attentive and detailed to all our needs. Our boat captain-Naim has the quiet humble and truly reliable demeanor, giving off the safe vibes cruising in his boat and often pointed out the animals to the guide. This is our second trip down Kinabatangan River.  Amazingly, this second trip is better than our first trip. All thanks to the staff. Food is amazing too! I have not eaten so much for long. I love nature. This is our family's first jungle trip exploring the wilderness of Sabah Borneo, and this place gave us the perfect introduction.

The hosts lead by Linda and team comprising captain Nain, Aisah and Man are friendly and helpful, they make us feel comfortable. Our guide Patrick is immensely knowledgeable about the wild creatures along Kinabatangan river,  and made the kids more interested in wildlife and conservation.  The homestay is basic and yet comfortable enough. The place is cool without air conditioner and hot water is available. The 'jungle' food is yummy, and nutritious. They also entertain our food request. We can see macaques, mouse deer, Malayan Civet, monitor lizards, Wallace's Hawk- eagle from just outside the common area. There are activities for children so that they can still enjoy the trip without the internet.

Last but not least, the river cruise along the slow Kinabatangan river, it's tributary, and the Ox bow lake are the highlight of the trip. We were very fortunate to spot VIPs like an adult Pygmy elephant, and white-crowned hornbills among others.

It's not a walk in a a park and we were prepared to face mosquitoes and leeches (luckily didn't encounter the latter). However this is the sort of beautiful experience from Borneo that will live on in our memories for a long time.

I had an absolutely incredible experience with Borneo Jungle Adventure! This adventure deserves a solid 5 stars⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

The highlight for me was the boat cruise🚣🏼 which provided breathtaking views of the jungle and allowed us to spot various animals like proboscis monkeys and crocodiles🐵🦊🦉The jungle trekking was equally amazing, offering opportunities to witness unique and captivating wildlife.

Immersing oneself in the wonders of wildlife at the Borneo Jungle Adventure Lodge offers an unparalleled experience. Our guide skillfully guided us on boat excursions and through the dense jungle trails, unveiling the mesmerizing sights of orangutans, majestic elephants, elusive snakes, and a vibrant tapestry of birdlife. The wildlife encounters were nothing short of extraordinary.

The accommodations are delightfully unpretentious, perfectly suited to its pristine jungle setting. As one would expect, the lodging is modest, but this is part of its charm and authenticity. Linda, our tour guide, was a wealth of knowledge, regaling us with insights into the local flora, the habits of the resident animals, and much more.
