Kinabatangan River

Kinabatangan Floodplain in the east coast of Sabah is one of Sabah's most splendid naturals treasures.

Natural habitats here include freshwater swamp forest and lowland dipterocarp forest-home to some of the largest and most diverse concentrations of wildlife species in Borneo today.

Many rare and endangered animals are found here, such as the fascinating proboscis monkey, herds of Borneo Pygmy elephant, the crocodile, wild Orang Utan and over 200 species of birds.
